What a brilliantly-observed comic this is. These are such quintessential kid things to think and do. And of course the late-comer kid who carries the inspiration to its absurd conclusion, hopefully learning something not too painfully in the process.

Miss Bliss should really be paying more attention to those children

Setrakian on ā€œThe Strainā€ did the same thing to the ā€œOccito Lumenā€ where he tore out the pages and put them on the wall, the floor to see if he can find that larger pattern in order to destroy all the vampiresā€¦.it failed.

Sigh. Itā€™s strips like this that make me realize how much I miss Richard Thompson.

A fascinating pre-school take on the heady concept of Sequential Art, the very essence of the Comic Strip!

But Dill had better not be dissecting whole and intact books at home! ā€”Leave that to the vile vivisectionists of medieval manuscripts who feed collectorsā€™ lust for single illuminated pages! Sorry; rant overā€¦.

I suspect this would not be nearly as fun with books for an older audienceā€¦
