Zombies are the soulless dead raised by Bokors to do their slave labor. The thing a Haitian fears most, to still be in servitude after death. Never to be free of the yoke of slavery. Nightmarish. They are not flesh-eating things. Those are ghouls. The new version look like zombies but feed on living flesh. So they are something new. Zomouls or Ghomzuls.
