Oopsie.

Boy, a little slip like that can make the Great Pumpkin pass you by.

Each time Linus does that, I’ve wondered if that is a subconscious means of rationalizing why the Great Pumpkin never appears and thus he has a reason to double down his faith even more the next year.

One slip like that, and you’re DOOMED!

Um, who’s the stupid one again, Linus?

“OH GREAT PUMPKIN, WHERE ARE YOU?”

As a long-time fan of the Toronto Maple Leafs, I can sympathise with Linus.

Another year shot.

The GP requires a sincere pumpkin patch, and Linus was definitely being sincere.

Linus is quoting scripture again.

You blew it again, Linus!

The Great Pumpkin is coming with vengeance Linus, thanks a lot!

Poor Linus. Another year the Great Pumpkin will make him look unhinged.

“He’ll come next year! You’ll see! YOU’LL SEE!”

I’ve used Linus’s prayer several times. Never worked for me, either. So much for quoting scripture.

“Vindicate me before mine enemies! Deliver me from my adversaries!! Let me hear the lamentations of their women!”
