Curious art. The roses, the heart. And the way Sprocket greeted him yesterday. Still room to speculate whether they are more than just adopted siblings…
And to me that seems to portend a less-than-rosy future for the strangely-close adoptive siblings. People don’t walk off into the sunset at the end of a Dick Tracy story; more often, they wind up either in the morgue or in jail. Still, it is some comfort and cause for hope to see that Silver (whom I may have underrated) has a plan of some sort for a getaway….

A plan, an idea, a card up the sleeve
A situation that will soon get the heave
Prepare for the slip, a quick getaway
The game is afoot and the wild card’s in play
Never assume the best of intents
The truth will flee who knows where it went
Always be ready to respond to the plight
Like dew in the morning disappears in the night!
Weak, but look what I’ve got to work with! LOL!
Goodnight Otto, wherever you are!

The Nitrates have repaid PD… in the amount of $480,000…..
It’s now time for the Nitrates to go freelance again but two groups will now be after them – Public Domain & gang and Dick Tracy & MCU

Still reminds me of that musical number from “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Somewhere That’s Green.”

If this was a TV show or streaming series I’d say Joe & Mike were positioning Silver & Sprocket for a spin-off of their own.

Doesn’t anyone associate roses with Bribery? What about the Blackhearts?
