It’s like that! My friend used a packing/moving service. She had a pile of dirty rags in the corner of her kitchen that she was using to clean. She did not specifically tell them not to pack them. When they got to their new place and opened the box…surprise! A pile of stinky, dirty rags.
@Terra.Cripe, BJIllustrated, and Amanda El-Dweek In their defense, I can understand to some extent — one person’s garbage is another person’s precious stuff. I’d rather they moved it than assumed and threw it out. I’m a little sensitive on that — I recently had someone throw out stuff thinking I didn’t want it and I at least wanted the chance to sort through it myself.
