    Satisfaction on her face

Her nerves were calm and her shakes erased

She had the prize she always sought

The chance arrived she saw and she bought

To own a piece of history

The words “too high” would never be

Alas her heart would surely ache

To learn her love was a genuine fake

A lesson learned the old fashion way

Class is over so now you must pay

So, I wonder what the significance is of her mentioning he new grandchild? And Tracy breezing right on by the comment.

I bet Tracy is thinking, "I wonder if that ‘phonoautogram’ is a ‘recording’ of ‘Lincoln’ saying “You can fool some of the people all of the time…”

Panel 3: Old Abe wouldn’t lie to Tracy. But Bea Thorndike is unwittingly speaking that-which-is-not-true to the detective, who should handle the situation diplomatically, not just blurting out that she has just thrown away however many dollars the final amount really is. (Half-mil? With Silver speaking at first of a $20K cut, then walking out with $250K, and with Public Domain expecting $480K, I’m not sure what Bea’s final payout is.) Tracy is smart enough to know that the Lincoln phonautogram is a sham. So, the case heats up now….
