Why does Jack keep having Andy in his pub if he cannot pay his tab (not even give Guitar Bob some respect)?

Well if Only Andy hadn’t lost ALL of the money he grabbed from Flo’s purse on the ponies,he might have been able to pay at least a small part of his tab.

Hee hee! It’s been a while since Jack threw Andy out! And before closing time!!

2 observations – 2nd last panel, its only six, the colour of the sky would make me think 6 PM and he is thrown out. The second comment, now that it is pints of beer, does Jack have a Andy Capp Tap? Something that dispenses cheap brown water for Mr. Capp, while the paying customer gets a nice beer with flavour.

Totally unrealistic. Andy would never be that sloshed on just six pints.

Jack said 6 pints on the house that don’t mean Andy’s only had 6.

Jackie probably considers Andy a friend: the annoying kind of friend, true, and even friendship only goes so far, but…….

He looks like he’s had a lot more than only six pints! Perhaps he paid for six or more before he started the tab.

Heh, I was about to come in and say what everyone else is saying, “He’s that sloshed on six pints?!” But as RetiredGezzer said, I think he’s sloshed on six free pints plus whatever he was drinking before his wallet was empty…

Unlike everyone else, I’m not that surprised that he got drunk after only 6 pints. What I’M surprised about is how the heck Jack let Andy have those 6 pints for free.
