I have always just enjoyed the way Greg Cravens draws Excited Dogzilla. There’s no attempt, and no pretense, about drawing an accurate portrait of how a dog looks in that state. Quite the contrary. All four limbs are pointing in different directions. I love it as commentary on how dogs really DO behave when they’re all hyped up.
I have a large dog. He gets so excited when a squirrel is up a tree, he will bite off lower dead limbs on spruce trees trying to get to the squirrels. Very funny to watch!
