    If you pound it thin like Swiss steak, dip it in a batter, fry it and pore white gravy over it, you have chicken fried steak which does taste good. Ask any Texan if you don’t believe me.

    My wife’s Swiss Steak is tender, juicy, and flavorful. That’s some good eating , right there.

    FYI, chicken fried steak is a served with a milk or sawmill gravy, country fried steak is served with a brown gravy, and swiss steak is not fried and served with vegetable based gravy.
