If you pound it thin like Swiss steak, dip it in a batter, fry it and pore white gravy over it, you have chicken fried steak which does taste good. Ask any Texan if you don’t believe me.
FYI, chicken fried steak is a served with a milk or sawmill gravy, country fried steak is served with a brown gravy, and swiss steak is not fried and served with vegetable based gravy.
