And what if she had said, “I can’t take this now – have them call me back.” NO parent would say that. If a school calls, it’s an emergency. The real test would have been SPEAKING to her on the phone as though you are a teacher/administrator and see how she handles it.
And just what did boss man expect? Of COURSE she’s going to take the call! Do employers believe that EVERYONE has a June Cleaver clone at home, freeing up employees to become company property?
