How can one get Latinos out of the country if some of the country was Spanish territory (California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Florida) before Uncle Sam took it?

I thought the wall was to keep illegal aliens out? Scratching my head at the hypocracy of the cartoon

And here we go again. Another misrepresentation of what the Trump administration is proposing. The wall is not to keep “Latinos” out. It is to help stop illegal immigration.

Better to have a wall to keep illegal aliens out than a wall to keep us from escaping.

Uncle Sam didn’t take it they bought it from the corrupt Mexican government at the time. They saw it as worthless land and valued the peso more than they did their people ( same as today). For it ones that didn’t pass history class -it was called The Gadsten purchase. If you want a more modern version, read “Art of the Deal”

Our section of border….where I live, thank you….is so tight that you can hear a spider fart for a hundred miles. More sophisticated electronics’ monitoring than you can imagine. And anyway, since the Orange Doofhas been blatherer-in-chief, Mexicans have been LEAVING, not entering. And the Guatemalans and others are escaping from the ‘bad dudes’ the coward-in-chief is so fearful of.

You border breast-beaters have no guts and no aristocracy of spirit. Here you have a whole nation of great workers who go through hell to come WORK for you, and you haven’t enough spirit to allow them to wait on you. I am so ashamed of my country.

That’s funny because when I told my Mexican husband that what he was saying about white people was racist, he said “I can’t be racist, all my friends are white”. Listen people it’s the MEDIA that is stirring up all this racial strife. We can and mostly do live peaceably with each other. Show a little kindness to your fellow man today. Houston did it during Hurricane Harvey.

That’s it! You cartoonist jerks are FIRED! I’m yanking you from the batch of strips I read daily. I said the other day, one more blatantly political strip (regardless of slant) and you’re off my list. And I meant it. And I urge other readers who agree with me to find some other strip written by a cartoonist(s) who aren’t so weak they have to rely on politics rather than original sunny stuff in everyday life. If enough readers follow my lead, you’ll be looking for some other line of work…and we’ll all be better off for it.
