Had a baby opossum hanging on for dear life on the hose to my pool cleaner. Got my net and got it out. It played “Possum” while I got a towel to dry it off. Could almost tell it was thanking me through it’s eyes looking at mine. Then I set it by the back gate and it eventually left.
I caught a opossum by the scruff of the neck. It bared it’s teeth at me and looked just nasty. So I dropped it on the ground and it skittered away. I was lucky it didn’t bite me.

Yuck! Opossums give me the creeps, especially when you surprise them in the middle of the night. :-O
