lets say Nate gets home from school at 3:30 and he goes to sleep at 9:45, that means he “watched Star Trek” for 6:45 m. how would Nate’s dad allow him to do this? and not yell at him to do homework? also in the 3rd panel it looks like he is showing off his lazyness. also how could Nate be this stupid? chad suggested that she would raise his grade, but not excuses.

Nate needed to present a report in STNG terms, rather than using it as an excuse for skipping his homework. I would be upset too if I were in Ms. Godfrey’s shoes. (Not at the same time she is in them, of course.)

Next thing you know, Nate is going to get suspended by Mrs. Godfrey just for using it as an excuse!

I would love it if Mrs. Godfrey got a vacation ( She won two teacher of the year awards ) and Mr. Rosa got to do art AND Social studies

I think she likes it more than Nate! When Francis called it a cheesy TV show, he didnt yell. When he used it as an ecsuse, she screamed at him. Wow

You know what Mr. Peirce should do? Another cartooning contest for the readers of Big Nate! He did one in 1997, but I wasn’t even BORN then, and I didn’t even get good at drawing until age 13. So he should do another contest for this generation!
