Wizard of Id by Parker and Hart for October 15, 2017

I like leaves on the ground, but CAN see where the Wiz’ way would be fun.

Aye ‘tis all fun an’ games ’til someone starts a wildfire. Just ask California.

Hitting one leaf at a time could wear a guy out. Bad enough doing them by the bagful, and I know because there are over a dozen very old oaks on my half-acre lot.

And, curiously enough, this year they are not changing colors first, but are falling green and browning on the ground. Guess ‘hottest ever’ July and ‘driest July, August, September’ have done their work

Where can I get a stick like his?

I thought he was playing with bubble wrap.

I expected to see the Wiz trying to do some sit ups
