I wonder if trying to assassinate someone’s character before a jury is an effective strategy, when that someone is as well known as Walt. Then again, emotions seem to rule Endtown these days.
I’m a bit lost here. I thought Hoss was on trial for killing Lou Pine. Good catch, Coyoty, while studying the cross examination, yeah, I missed the book the jury’s passing around. But it’s already been floated that this jury is rigged, probably in favor of Hoss, with perhaps the intent of igniting civil war between the wolves and maybe everyone else in Endtown!
Not sure pointing out PINE’s previous pounding is such a good idea as the jury may wonder why said pounding happened, especially when it’s apparent this jury’s already has a verdict. Also, Why didn’t Denise call out the Not guilty and Not yet guys?
Funny that Lou Pine didn’t press charges against Thimble for the beat-down. Then again, doing so would’ve meant owning up to harassing a pig who was trying to lose weight.
In most courts, the prosecution has just made a major misstep in bringing up the July 5th incident. Lou has been characterized as a town funster, and his conduct on July 5th couldn’t be brought up as part of Heather Hoss’s trial. However, now that the prosecution has brought the incident, it becomes fair for the Defense to enlighten the jury about Lou’s anti-porcine attitude.

Walt’s reputation precedes him. But, being a drunk doesn’t mean that you’re wrong about someone else crushing people’s heads in with bricks.

I wonder if the jury has been instructed not to do law research or detective work of their own.

And that has to do with… what exactly?

Just showed Walt is not connected as a character witness. Not even paying attention……much like the jurors reading a book during testimony.
