Entering the room at the same time does not mean they arrived at the house at the same time. Assuming that they all arrived at the same time and no one sneaked into the room unnoticed, as mentioned yesterday, then the butler did it. Either that or all of them did it. :)
I just realized there is something I don’t understand about yesterday’s strip. In the last panel, we have the silhouette of each suspect, lined up in the same order as their full view in the preceding panel. The silhouette of each matches perfectly, with the exception of the girl standing next the the “Lurch” character. That silhouette looks nothing like her – the neck is much broader, more like a man’s neck, and the hair doesn’t seem right either. Am I missing something – who is that silhouette supposed to be?
Looking at it again, I guess maybe the shadow is of both her neck and her hair, combined together in the silhouette. if that’s the case, I’m sure it’s not significant to our little mystery. I thought i had something there, but probably not!
H. K. Krispies (I think we just learned his initials today) is dead. Is the slim girl in the pale green sweater his daughter, or a secretary or personal assistant? Is the blonde his wife? Is the big dude his butler or valet? Today, we’ve learned, too, that Notgo Meszadams is a real estate investor in need of money. If the approach continues, each character will get a day to introduce him- or herself and provide a potential motive. That would take through Thursday (Friday if Jarvis is also included), giving Tracy just a couple of days for cross-questioning or deduction, since the Reveal/Solution must come next Sunday….
Dave Amiott pointed something out on the Dick Tracy Fan Club FB page, and I think he’s right. The “Lurch” is Piston Puss from the old Autolite print ads.
Hmmmm.. they all entered the room at the same time? Was H.K. already dead? Was he alive when they entered, in which case they witnessed the murder? Or did Jarvis usher them all in there when he discovered the body? Maybe Tracy will ask these questions tomorrow?

I don’t trust Notgo Meszadams. He’s creepy and he’s kooky, mysterious and spooky, and altogether ooky.

Less a “Minit Mystery” than a “One Week Whodunnit.”

Either the butler did it or he committed suicide.

Am I the only one who’s noticed that the blonde at the door is casting an entirely different shadow?

We have (not)Wednesday, (not)Gomez and (not)Lurch. Is the blonde woman a slightly older Marilyn Munster paying a visit to the (not)Addams?

Also wonder … Notgo is into real estate. Was he the one behind those mysterious noises Gravel heard several months ago now at SunnyDell Acres?

Hey, teenage girl, Tracy asked you WHEN you arrived, not with whom! LOL
