I wanted to make a plum pudding once and decided to do a practice one in November. I got it made and then read the line – “Now hang it in a cloth in a damp place for ONE MONTH!”. No, I don’t read things thru. So I hung it in the bathroom for the month till Christmas Eve. Then boiled it and it came out really well.
