My religious training indicated that, in order to achieve âheavenâ, one must always tell the truth and NEVER tell a lie. One of the FIRST things a lawyer is taught in law school is that âtruthâ is relative. If you look for synonyms for lying (sometimes referred to as âeuphemismsâ), you will find a goodly number of them; understand that a most of them were âinventedâ to describe what lawyers do, and were, in fact developed to describe what lawyers and politicians do without having to call them âliarsâ! This was way back in the old days (BDT â Before Donald Trump) when politeness still counted and good manners were still valued!
