I always call my younger daughter “weird”, which she loves. One time my mother heard me and got upset. “You shouldn’t call her ‘weird’; you should call her ‘unique’.” I looked at her and said, “‘Unique’ is just a fancy word for ‘weird’, and the kids at school aren’t going to say ‘unique’.” She used to do the same to me, saying that I wasn’t short, but “petite”. My answer: “‘Petite’ is just a fancy word for ‘short’.”

Because you believe the zit “treatment” industry when they tell you not to pop that bad boy (because if it goes away, what will they sell you?)
