For those wondering: Yes, today’s strip is one of the last FoxTrot dailies. It is from Monday, December 25, 2006:

The last daily was from the Saturday of that same week:

Since Monday, January 1st, 2007, no more new daily strips have appeared. On that day the FoxTrot Classics page was created, re-running only daily strips (no Sundays), starting with the strips from 1996:

Nevertheless, FoxTrot started back in 1988, and since the archives now contain many strips from the years 1988 to 1996 I am hopeful that next week we may start seeing re-runs of those really old strips here.
Those of us currently reading US Acres daily at https://garfield.com/usacres have just had a reset too. It ran from March 1986 – May 1989. They dailies ended on April 15th. https://garfield.com/usacres/1989/04/15I guess taxes were too high.May had no dailies but had one Sunday strip On May 7th. https://garfield.com/usacres/1989/05/07
So reading daily there have been mostly empty pages for three weeks, except on the days connected to the Sundays. Now we are back to the very beginning of the strip’s run which started with https://garfield.com/usacres/1986/03/04
Foxtrot is an all time favorite for our family. I was so sad when Mr. Amend decided to only do Sundays. I keep hoping he will change his mind and come back to doing dailies! Fortunately, there are many books and I can still read his old strips online, but it’s not quite the same.

Reruns of Foxtrot are better than many current strips, even if some of the pop culture references will be confusing.

I wish there had been more Li’l Abner. I guess we can find in collections at bookstores, like Pogo.
