He’s been breaking the fourth wall since the beginning of the arc.

Sure hate to see it all end, again. I do love the Sunday strips, but miss the old long story arcs.

So what happens when this arc finishes?

Love the way Bill Amend closed the strip out! That was clever!

It’s so awkward for two people to have this whole conversation and never mention the cartoonist’s name or the title of the comic.

Ah…thank you too! (No, I’m not crying….there’s just something in my eye….)

Indeed … a nice finish to the daily strips. I, too, am sad to see them end, but hope the series will restart from the beginning.

Just wish that this hadn’t ended right before Christmas! Should have been after the New Year… could have been part of a story about resolutions and new beginnings!
