Poor Mark. No matter how old you are, it’s tough when you hear your parents fight.

Roland’s twit is especially pithy this morning: “…stone’s throw from the Muslim Quarter…” indeed.

Trudeau’s hit the bullseye in the portrait of Mark’s father. He is typical of a certain type of man of his generation and age. The selfishness and egotism of the character, certainly is spot on. Reminds me of someone, currently residing at 1600 Penn. Ave., in Washington, D.C. !

Phil Slackmeyer has come up with a great retort here. The next time my (only) wife says something critical, I’m going to say “That’s a typical first-wife remark!”

After seeing this fine example of classic male behaviour, Mark still wants a man as his partner? What’s with that? Maybe he’s looking for the ‘nice’ dad he never had…

HMMM. Let me think. The last mayor of my city who was unelected, also had trophy wives. 2 of them, probably on a 5 yr contract each. He also went to the Academy of Donald Trump, where he took the course Lying Sniveling Weasel 101. History truly does repeat itself.

Also a typical first-son remark, as I recall.
