Wow, I am heading to Google to find those out, i have no clue.

I used to learn all those wonderful bits of junque our teachers required for tests. Then I realised my head was full of trivia (I was on the College Bowl team) but had no real practical life-skills.

Capital of Cameroon is Yaoundé.

Wouldn’t the capital be wherever there is the hottest temperatures and the strongest winds, since that should be where all the blow-hard politicians who are breaking-wind are?

You’re not just learning facts, which may indeed be of no use to you later. You’re learning how to learn. Not everything has to be useful.
