Was Sergio’s childhood watching on TV “Los Supersónicos”? (♪Meet Súper Sónico, his boy Cometín, daughter Lucero, Ultra his wife.♪ Source being Spanish Wikipedia.)
At an exposition, when I was younger, they had a “House of Tomorrow” where, at the push of a button, the entire bathroom’s interior was hosed down and sanitized with high-pressure water jets and large heated blowers! My father, the chief ‘bill-payer’, and ever the practical man, wondered aloud how much water and electricity was used – though I suspect he was just afraid of being lazy and forgetful because he’d have to carry his own towels and bathroom tissue with him all the time! It’s quite surprising how people don’t think these things through.

Flying cars always sounded good until you pay attention to how people drive. Do you really want those nitwits to have to deal with a third dimension?
If flying cars do ever exist, y’all look up Wiley’s Roof Armor. You’ll need it.

A flying self-cleaning bathroom would be nice.

Don’t we all want self-cleaning bathrooms?
