I’m hoping this not-so-funny story line won’t continue into next. This issue cause them to miss Thanksgiving this year along with rest of thecomics. What a pity.
And the inanimate object continues to sit there, not harming anyone until it is picked up and misused. Explain to me how the inanimate object is the problem? Or if you don’t have a rational argument, feel free to just call me names. That’s usually what happens.
Wondered who would react to this toon. As a Liberal, gun owner, combat veteran, former law enforcement officer, and hunter- had venison last night with the turkey, the Second Amendment’s “well regulated” was also identified by Scalia as the DUTY of government to regulate your firearms when you leave your home with them.(DC vs Heller) Also have seen several cases of hunters killed or wounded by guns they weren’t even touching at the time, usually goiing through fences and resting the loaded gun, no safety on, against the fence, it falls, BOOM! Dead or wounded hunter.
Also arrested a woman who shot her boyfriend six times in the back of the head with HIS gun, claiming it was another “accident”. She took HIS gun from the bottom of his backpack to shoot him. She had recently turned 18, and it also turned out this was the THIRD “boyfriend” she’d shot! Her dad, prominent and rich lawyer, got her off again on manslaughter instead of murder. NO action taken against her when she was a juvenile.
Guns do NOT kill people, or animals, the bullets do. More bullets, more dead, as in Las Vegas. Try wounding 500 people, and killing 58, with a knife, hammer, or car.

Take it to Tejas; the Texicans will take anything that explodes, makes a lot of noise, and doesn’t require a special level of intelligence.

It looks like a cheap .38 snub nose. It was thrown over a fence to get rid of it. Sounds to me like it was used for a crime. No one should want it.

I’ll take it if you promise to end this storyline and go back yo being a comic strip instead of a political cartoon.

It’s not the inanimate object. It’s the easy available of said object to people who shouldn’t be allowed to have it.

A discarded gun has usually been used in a crime, so no, no smart person would even consider keeping it. A found gun should be reported to police.

Sure, RJ and Verne, I’ll take it. So I can do what you failed to come up with. Dig a hole and bury it.
