Usually anyone can use the table as long a there no handicap person needed it and you understand you need move if someone in need of it arrives. I would have moved once I saw the cane even if I need how Jim was.
Having to use a cane isn’t much of a disability.
Too often the things to be used by the physically and mentally handicapped are usurped by the morally handicapped.
