Read an article once that a woman gets up, says she’s going to bed but then proceeds to do about 20 things first, the man decides to go to bed and just does.

I wonder if Ralph has ever been to Zzyzx? That’s Zzyzx, California…. Google it!

The more complex the machine, the more steps required to start it up or shut it down. Some brains are nuclear reactors; some are toasters.

You think Ralph’s got it easy, consider how Oogie goes to bed.

I thought you weren’t supposed to exercise right before bed. Exercising wakes you up.

My wife does most of that and then drops off in seconds. It takes me an hour or more and I wake up 3-5 times a night.

In Amazons’ video section, there is a series called The Marvelous Mrs Maziel. There are two scenes of woman doing exactly this, only in reverse. Before they go to bed, they do full makeup, hair, perfume and lovely nightgowns. Once the husbands are asleep, they get up, take it all off, set their hair, etc. They get up before the husbands wake up, get all dolled up again and pretend to have been asleep.

however, don’t forget women of my generation at least outlive their husbands by 10 years.

What a miserable woman. Waking him up to complain because she isn’t sleeping…
