I wish the leaves would let up too. I’m tired of raking the yard.

We haven’t had any leaves here for weeks now.

We’re still relatively warm. Just walked the dog, and it was 29 degrees.

I know something worse, a pecan tree and a tin roof! We had 45 mph wind gust the other day and it sounded like a steel drum band of 6000.

yea, chestnuts on a tiled roof are also a wonderful sound. But that’s autumn…

And animals and people walking nearby wouldn’t bother them also? Hmmm

Gweedo: We didn’t get as much snow in Ottawa and its surroundings as the Prairies have… We had a bit of dusting, 6 cms in total on Saturday to Sunday… :)
