Aw, my uncle (R.I.P) told me he remember those days of high school and college students cramming themselves in telephone booths and VW Beetles. Both of them don’t exist anymore.

It was s funny how that style of photograph is now all the rage…. it is like most group “selfies”. Mr. Bushmiller was ahead of the curve on this for sure!

Not a very realistic photo, that hockey player on the upper-right still has his front teeth.

I guess this inspired the 1950’s fad of cramming all of the people you can in a telephone booth.

Sluggo’s interest in those photos matured over the years until his Pierre Dilecto Snapchap moniker was traced to him on some “south of the border” pics that no one requested or wanted.

25 cents in 1950 could buy something as we were still using the gold standard.

25 cents = 5candy bars back then. Or 2.5 comic books.

When I was two or three, Mom put all four of us in a photobooth and told us to look at the mirror. My attention was all over the place until the first flash went off, which I still remember, and my mind could only think about what was behind that mirror after that and for the next three flashes. It’s a great photostrip, with my sisters all diligently posing, and I’m doing this doglike “where did it go, George?” bit.
