So the news of the surrender went to every nook and cranny of the entire Soviet Union, even into the back woods of Siberia. Everybody across that humongous space of territory drank every drop of their vodka; no one had any leftover. They had hidden cameras logging every single citizen’s drinking habits. Secret police were deployed to insure that none of the public left any in reserve. So, does this sound a little ridiculous to anyone? DON’T BELIEVE IT! HOW CAN ANYONE BELIEVE IT?
When I first read the vodka blip, I assumed they were talking about German vodka. But after reading it a few more times and these comments, now the only thing I believe is that Ripley is doing a great job of keeping these stories unclear…
