I have to wonder how much food gets thrown away because some people think it magically goes bad just because it has passed a specific date

I still don’t think I would eat Mayo that went out last April

If it ain’t green and fuzzy, and doesn’t smell bad, taste it.

The plugger way of determining if food is still good: “Here honey, taste this.”

My daughter will throw out milk on the expiration date while I’ll use it until it starts curdling in my coffee.

I still have meat in my freezer from 2009, and it’s still good.
