Writing “this” and “today” in the same sentence like that is grammatically incorrect.

Dear Santa, I haven’t killed anyone in the last 15 minutes!

Dear Santa: I am aware of the concept of goodness, and for the most part don’t have a problem with it.

My daughter wrote that she had been “okay” this year in her letter to Santa since she thought saying “good” would be pushing it.

At least he admits it, unlike a certain kid with a stuffed tiger.

Maybe he’d do better to scratch “good” and leave the space blank: “Dear Santa, I have been a boy this year.”
