I felt that I was beginning to understand it all a bit more. I didn’t seem to have gained any new abilities, or senses, or anything at all. I had learned through experimentation that I could completely tune out all the external interference. The only change was that I was aware of it. Nobody else seemed to be. The morning it all began, my mind was very quiet, silenced by my feeling of isolation and dread anticipation. What was different was that I was free of the idiotic and ever-present companionship of internal dialog, though I still carried it with me, now as passive luggage rather than active influence. I was happy to be free of its control, having it reduced to the role of a background white noise, or an odd smell to which one has grown inured.
My mother has a dome top trunk (barrel-top must be another word for it). It belonged to my great-great-grandmother. My sister is hoping that it will be her trunk someday. Good luck with that, Cindy.
So you made that deal to trunk it out and she thinks it is the better part of it. Well, well grin and bare it type of deals. You I just shut up and follow along for the ride, right Wrong again Ms. Smarty Pants. Wait for a few years of doing this and after reeling in the benefits, you my friend have saved muck money and she has hit rock bottom.

Unless he were a very large man, he should have folded neatly into the trunk. Sure, it wouldn’t be comfortable, but travelling seldom is.

No doubt she arranged first-class accommodations for the more useful parts, even if they were a bit naughty.

I don’t see any signs of leaking. Note the nifty edge corners.

Her trunk is too big to carrion the plane.

Look under her hat. A part of Reggie might be there, too.

Good for Sabina! Good for the trunk manufacturer! Tough luck, Reginald.
I just don’t get why she’d want to keep him around when new foolish men are a dime a dozen and easily overcome by such a comely wench.
But, then, I dislike travelling alone, too, so maybe she’s right to en-trunk Reggy….
