Wrong choice of Vet if he doesn’t know how to do that.

Step 1: assemble equipment, set 911 on autodial.

Step 2: anesthetize the dog. Wait for dog to sleep.

Step 3: Shave area to be operated on. If dog wakes, call 911.

Step 4: scrub area with antiseptic. If dog wakes, call 911.

My nearly 1 year old puppy has a problem with his liver, such that he shouldn’t be anesthetized, which means no optional surgeries, if you know what I mean. I doubt Will would want this problem as a means of escaping neutering, however, as average life span for dogs with this condition is 4 years.
