there’s a neighbor who was out this morning when I came home from work and she was taking all the festivus stuff down… crack of dawn. sheesh! relax a little lady! enjoy the afterglow!
Family tradition was to keep the decorations up until January 6th (my birthday.) Perversely, I now like my decorations taken down as soon after Christmas as possible!

I’m willing to let them stay up all month.

That crap comes down tomorrow!

Wouldn’t work for us. It’s been a binary Christmas – we have exactly one decoration up.

The day the Santa statuette starts looking like a garden gnome is the day it should be put away.

Outdoor decorations remain lit through the mid-January birthdays. Then they stay up until we get a nice warm(ish) weekend.

For the first time in 10 years, I can actually leave up the tree for more than 4 days. My cat Vlad has actually stopped trying to eat it!

Arlo should make it into a game. For every article of clothing that Janis takes off she an take down one decoration.

The weekend after New Year’s. The stuff comes down with the NFL Wild Card games on in the background. It’s a tradition…

2 out of 3 people do not have this issue, since less than 1/3 of the world’s population is “Christian”.

I love the decorations. Don’t put them up if you don’t enjoy them. I love Christmas music too. Sad that it has stopped playing.

We usually take them down on Twelfth Night.
