I’ve pouted and joked about that lonely New Year’s Eve (one of many) so much, that now my husband makes sure he stays awake at least until 12:30, just to shut me up.
(It doesn’t. The kvetching has just become a holiday tradition. Ya gotta treasure those precious memories!)

The last New Year’s eve ‘party’ I was at was Y2K. I was in IT and upper management was freaking about everything; not that they were at work mind you.
