Mrs. Olsen works on the school year and your homework had better be all in by the time that ends.

Caulfield’s logic is a bit off today. If anything, it means that he has until the end of the year to do any homework due by his birthday.

She also isn’t an easy mark, Once again, Caulfield went all in against the stronger player and misread his opponent.

Better sit down, Caulfield. Standing to reason isn’t always that popular these days. 8^)

Here’s one way in which racing US Masters Swimming is simpler than USA Triathlon: In USA Triathlon, you’re assigned your age group according to however old you’ll be on December 31. In US Masters Swimming, your age is … your age. Your age that day.

Actually, I don’t know if that’s really any simpler. It’s just different. So here’s how swimming is simpler than triathlon, at least for me: In triathlon, it could actually matter. If I chose my event well, I might make the podium in my age group. In swimming, unless and until I get a whole lot faster, it doesn’t matter what age group I’m in, I’m not close enough to the front to worry.
