The Judger seems a lot like Q of Star Trek TNG in her origin story.

My favorite is still Omnipresent Man. So many paradoxes, pathetic though they may be, it’s fun to watch how they get resolved (sort of).

Knife control – getting people slapped to death by hemophiliacs since about 25-30 years ago.

I’ve noticed many other types of superhero origin stories:

-Mutation

-Discovery of a power-granting artifact

-Learning an arcane art

-Exotic technology (including being it if you’re a robot)

-Lab success

-Undeath
