It matters more how we think of ourselves NOW. (Remember these are the guys who were cool with slavery, keeping the vote away from women and had no problems with genocidal behavior towards Native Americans)

I doubt the Founders would have actually cussed at everyone for making their country go wrong.

I thought Republican Supremes like Scalia had a hot line to the Founding Fathers and knew exactly what they wanted. That’s why money is free speech, right?

Not just how we think but what is being done to our country against us by our aristocracy of super rich who want the rest of us as wage slaves or dead. Dead as in having no health coverage. If you can’t afford it isn’t coverage.

“Na Na Hey Hey (Kiss Him Goodbye)”

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye

We’ll never love you, the way that Vlad loves you

‘Cause if we did, no no, we wouldn’t make you cry

Vlad might be killin’ daily but a-my Trump

    (my chump, my gump)

    So dog-gone chillin’

    So kiss him

(I wanna see you kiss him, wanna see you kiss him)

Go on and kiss him goodbye

Na na na na, hey hey-hey, goodbye

Na na na na, na na na na, hey hey hey, goodbye

    Listen to us now

Vlad’s never near you, he never did fear you

When all those ‘sad’ tweets that were framin’ all your lies

Vlad might be killin’ daily but a-my Trump

    (my chump, my gump)

    So dog-gone chillin’

    So kiss him

(I wanna see you kiss him, wanna see you kiss him)

Go on and kiss him goodbye

    *

Na-na na-na-na na na na na na na

    Hey Hey Hey, goodbye

    Hey hey-hey, goodbye

Na na na na, na na na na

    Hey Hey Hey, goodbye

Na na na na, na na na na

    Hey Hey Hey, goodbye

’Slaver, you ain’t nothing but the corporation’s dog.’

And what are you? So full of hate you just wanna go and fight everybody because you’ve been wage slaved and chased by cops. That might not be living, but it sure ain’t dying. And dying’s what these idealists been doing for going on three centuries.

Dying by the thousands. Dying for you, fool.

I know, because I visit the graves. And all the time I’m visitin’, I’m asking myself:

“When? When, Mr. Adams, is it gonna be our time?”

Well, time’s coming when we’re gonna have to ante up. Ante up and kick in like patriots. Like patriots!

You watch who you call a slaver. If there are any slavers around here, it’s you. Smart-mouth, stupid-a**, comment-trollin’ enabler. If you ain’t careful, that’s all you ever gonna be. Now y’all go on back to business.

    Hello, friend. Here it comes:

    “…return to those policies.”

The Founders were not responsible for the sins of their fathers. With the rarest of exception, the entire human race in 1776 held fast to these ‘positions’. Being a part of a species that is overall grossly immoral be our condition unto this very day.

No excuses accepted or offered. Bad things are bad in any era.

The immorality that future generations will vest on our 2018 heads will not be excused either. Hopefully they will be put in context of what the default level of progress that is achievable in one’s own time.

The Founders were flawed geniuses that gave us the gift to do something about the condition of mankind. Let’s not waste it with pointless revisionist fault finding and whataboutisms.

Love ya bro. Keep ’em coming!

We hope to reverse the current administrations immigration policies, but that doesn’t mean everyone will be welcome. We have a long memory. You certainly won’t be able to apply for asylum in the west when Putin starts liquidating his troll army.

The preamble of the Constitution spells out the real objectives, and even though the authors spoke with the society of their times in the background, the objectives in that preamble was also the hope for the future. The current POTUS and Republican Congress wants a future WORSE and far more oppressive than the past those founding fathers were out to leave behind.

I daresay the President will address this in his State of the Union speech. All he’s trying to do is preserve a “Government of the Right People, by the Right People, and for the Right People.” It just leaves one questioning just who the “Right People” may be. It seems to be wealthy white anglo-saxon protestant males.

“Go ahead and hate your neighbor, go ahead and cheat your friend, do it in the name of Heaven, you can justify it in the end…” Don’t remember who wrote or sang this song, but that verse has always stuck with me.

Oh that was a good one! I remember it as One Tin Soldier by Coven. Think they played it in the movie Billy Jack too.
