This is actually a thing from one of the OLD Tarzan books. It was WWI, the Germans were fighting in South Africa and Tarzan thought that they killed Jane. Instead of a cheetah he caught a lion and dropped him down behind the lines in the German trenches. I always thought it was a rotten trick on the cat.
I’ve seen house cats use their tales as a counterbalance to swing 180 degrees in midair. I’m surprise this kitty didn’t do the same just to nail Tarzan for all the indignities heaped upon the feline. On the other hand, all it probably wants to do now that it’s free is get the heck out of there.
