Gweedo is on the right track. Calvin needs to rebrand as a boutique drink – maybe Gourmet Calvino Limonata. Sheeple always ante up for something that sounds sophisticated.
You all do understand that this is the pricing theory commonly used by business today. Don’t price to recover costs and a little more to sustain growth. Price what the “market will bear.”
Question: which one is a winning strategy, and which one makes you mearely competitive?
If Calvin warmed his lemonade he would be able to sell his “Cold Cure” for $5.00 a glass!
I’ve used the top step in my garage house door as a wine cooler for years. Works well for storing frozen turkey that won’t fit in the fridge just before Christmas too, or for too much home-made soup. It’s 10 F here today with snow falling, so the wine is reeeeally chiled well.

Calvin the lawyer/politician CEO demonstrating his marketing genius - Hobbes is the Vice President in charge of Finances….When they get old enough, these two are going to make it big in something, but I’m not exactly sure what that might be….

That’s the same with us. The quality of the newspaper has been going down for years so they’ve lost tons of subscribers not willing to put up with it anymore. To make up (for that lost revenue), they’re really socking it in price increases to the rest of us still barely getting it before we too decide it’s not worth receiving anymore. For some time now, they’ve been charging us the higher Sunday newspaper price on a weekday (Thanksgiving) due to all the “Black Friday” sales ads! Excuse me but aren’t these businesses already paying the newspaper to deliver these ads to us anyhow?!?!? Why do we then have to turn around and pay the newspaper for these same sales ads a second time???

This is even funnier given how common $3-a-cup coffee is these days.
By the way drinking cold beverages in winter and hot beverages in summer is a good native trick to tolerate the temperature more.

He’d definitely have to stick to the job of CEO because with thinking like this, he’d make a terrible CFO for any company that would hire him!
