Somewhere here on my desk is the original run of this strip I cut from the newspaper. There are only a few of them that give us a glimpse of the humanity of both parents, and this one’s the best.

Now there is a Mom thats getting a good laugh. Raising Calvin dose not give her too many times to truly get a good laughs but she is having a good one this time.

We don’t often get to see either of Calvin’s parents laughing at, well, pretty much anything Calvin says or does … which is why today’s comic is especially funny!!!!!

Maybe mom didn’t pee her pants, but it was funny enough to knock her out of her chair. Makes me wonder what Calvin will choose to imitate mom, so dad can have his revenge laugh.

@SWEETBILL: exactly… I’ve been home for a mothing and it’s on my nerves… Calvin and Hobbes always comes to my aid…!! @Hobbes: thanks… I introduced many of my friends to Calvin and Hobbes and they are on it now… btw, I don’t know what made you think that the name doesn’t describe me… because I chose it due to many reasons, one being ‘fit’( meaning those sudden and violent changes in mood)…!!!!

Hi Miss.Fit. What I meant was that you are not a misfit. Nobody in this world is born to be a misfit. And in your case, we enjoy having you as part of our group. You fit in just fine.

We all have imperfections, some more dramatic than others. Personally, I have days when I feel like pouncing on others for no reason. :>)

The important thing is for us to begin by loving ourselves for who we are, in spite of the imperfections. Choosing a positive name for ourselves can be very helpful.
