    Most anything in excess is bad for you… the same things in moderation are generally good for you (or, at least, ok). Four drinks a day is no where near being excessive.

    Individual biology determines the affects, also training. Early in my military career I was forced in to the barracks and, while living there, I would drink regularly and heavily. With that much practice it took a lot more to get a good drunk going. These days I rarely drink and two beers will do the trick nicely. Some folks can drink all day and it barely shows, others have one beer and fall off their bar stool… 8^)
