Another day with this wonderful artwork displayed the only way it should be.

    May this endure!

Henry forgot he was talking to Charley, obviously!

Black and white is fine! As I said before, reminds of the original strips!

    Good morning Crew!

Now, see, this gag only works in a comic strip…

Color and fewer mice is my vote.

    Good morning, Crew!

COLOR, it’s the only way you can tell the “good” guys from the “bad” guys.

It’s a favorite strip either way, but I’m missing the color.

That is true, sugie. And with B.C. it’s the the only way to tell some of the guy cavemen apart - as long as the coloring is done correctly.

It might be an age-related problem… I grew up in the BC (before computers) era of comics and find much to like in the B&W. My kids, though, want color.

BTW, Brooke McEldowney has convinced Comics dot com to leave his daily 9 Chickweed Lane strips alone for “artistic reasons.” When they first colorized some, he gave online comparisons of how they colored them, how he would have colored them if he wanted color, and how the B&W originals looked. In most cases the B&W was clearer and often funnier!

If Charley knew Henry meant “pore over” it would make him sweat!

I’m in the same camp as lightenup: Fewer mice! They definitely have their place, but sparingly. Like people have said, the black & white may not be as “pretty”, but it harkens back to before this strip loaded up on extraneous characters.

That being said, I appreciate all the hard work Dunham does and the entertainment he provides!

Got to specify which pour, pore or poor you meant!

Another vote for color. If I want black and white, I go to the newspaper.

    Good afternoon, Crew!
