This is the gag that guys are sending to their buddies, and women are saying “I don’t get it. It doesn’t make any sense. Didn’t he hear her say that she just came from the Hairdresser?”
Somehow, this reminds me of the time my next door neighbor had her dark hair bleached blonde, and when she came home, her husband said nothing. All thru dinner, he never mentioned it. So, after she’d finished the dishes, she strolled into the living room where he was reading the paper, and asked, “Honey, how do you think I’d look as a blonde?” He looked up from the newspaper, gave her a long look, and said, " Nah. I like it the way it is."
I had a friend whose wife went to the hairdresser every Thursday and when she came back, he would always say “I thought you were going to have your hair done”!
This reminded me of my wedding morning. Brushed and brushed my hair to get it just right and hubby-to-be answered with “It’ll look nice once you brush it.” Almost wasn’t a wedding. We were together nearly 55 years after the wedding.

If Opal can go to the hairdresser by herself why does she need her husband to take her to the fabric shop?

I sure hope Opal didn’t hear that.

I remember, as a kid ( and even in later life ), my Mom going to the hairdresser every week.
I could never tell the difference between the before and after !
