I like the above answers. But for the fun of it, you wouldn’t use which unless somebody was talking about a particular book, in a situation like this:
“I’ve heard there’s a book made of pure chocolate.”“This is the book, which I borrowed. (I’ve already devoured the first chapter.)”

My Mom has a friend who used “which” to refer to people, as in “My friend which went to the store.” Kind of sets your teeth on edge.

Lol Now that’s funny and truly ironic. Now for me personally, I would have used “that”
