Reality has a left wing bias. That bothers the right wingers.

When the only acceptable “Right” is what used to be the 10% lunatic fringe, the other 90% of the spectrum containing reality, truth and reason will be called the left.

@chriswarner…you need to think long and hard about this subject, my friend, as you haven’t even scratched the surface. Put your silly obsession with labels aside and take a look at poor pathetic trump. There are policy differences between the two parties, but poor pathetic mentally ill trump isn’t part of the debate. He’s not even all there as a thinking, rational human being.

You think his lying is OK? You think his insults are OK? You think his divisiveness is OK? You think his profound ignorance is OK? You think his lack of basic human decency is OK? How about his admiration for American Nazis (those "very fine people)? Is that OK with you? infowars, Breitbart, Limbaugh, Hannity, all just peachy keen, right? Conflicts of interest, all OK? Treason? Just swell, right? Destroying the State Department is just what we need, right? Tearing down environmental standard is OK with you? You must like pollution and poison in your air and water, right?

About your regressive party. How about fair play, you think it’s OK to destroy legislative comity with cheating? All OK, right? Over half the country gets no representation? All OK? No debates. Closed hearings. No testimony before Congress? No expertise brought to bear on problems. No consideration of amendments to legislation. Protect consumers? Must be the wrong thing to do, right? Provide health care financing for children? How awful that must be for you. Food stamps for the poor. Let them starve, right? Medicaid for middle class nursing home residents? Oh the horror of taking care of the elderly. On and on. Lies and more lies. Immorality on nasty display.

You go on stewing in your fevered conspiratorial nonsense. It’s certainly the place for the gullible to get brainwashed. Truth does matter. Facts matter. Civility matters. Integrity matters. Equal justice before the law matters. These are a few of the American aspirational ideals getting trashed by this putative leader and his mindless regressive followers.

    There is only one truth.

Kimmel Made a 5-Minute Documentary About All of Trump’s Best Lies …https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2018/…/trump-2000-lies-kimmel-documentar…3 days ago – “He is, quite simply, the Babe Ruth of bull,” Post fact-checker character Geoffrey Russk says early on in the short doc, titled Pants of Fire: The Road to 2,000 Lies. “He is the greatest liar of all time.” As Kimmel’s experts noted, Trump got off to a blistering start, logging lie after lie.

    .

I study liars. I’ve never seen one like President Trump. – The …https://www.washingtonpost.com/…liars…trump/…/4e529efe-da3f-11e7-a841-2066faf73…Dec 8, 2017 – I study liars. I’ve never seen one like President Trump. … Starting in early October, The Post’s tracking showed that Trump told a remarkable nine lies a day, outpacing even the biggest liars in our research. But the flood … Research on the detection of deception consistently documents this “truth bias.”

Google uses algorithms that give an individual answers based on their own history. It is therefore slanted toward everyone’s own biases.

Mr. Ramirez must have gotten on someone else’s computer if he was getting liberally slanted results.

(Or maybe he saw some facts and thought they had a left-winged bias, because of course they do to a right winger).

Google the company has been accused of paying female staff less than male staff so isn’t that more like a “right-wing thing” to do? (In which case providing more “left-wing” search results just evens out the total)

Also BTW Google supposedly determines the “best” results from things like the “popularity” of the found pages (how often they are linked to from other pages and so on). So maybe the left-wing pages are just somehow more referenced from other pages.

@"jlocke"… yes, I have explained that before. My brother was psychotic, and, while malignant narcissism was the least of his problems, the compulsive and distasteful experience was unforgettable. Years ago, I was snookered into working for a personality very similar to pathetic trump. He is in jail now for fraud. I lasted 6 weeks. So, yes, I have personal familiarity with this. I am not diagnosing, Iam observing and reporting back. Here’s what the Mayo Clinic has to say (con’t)

    @"jlocke"…(cont) Mayo Clinic website:

    https://www.mayoclinic.org/diseases-conditions/narcissistic-personality-disorder/symptoms-causes/syc-20366662

Signs and symptoms of narcissistic personality disorder and the severity of symptoms vary. People with the disorder can:

Have an exaggerated sense of self-importance

Have a sense of entitlement and require constant, excessive admiration

Expect to be recognized as superior even without achievements that warrant it

    Exaggerate achievements and talents

Be preoccupied with fantasies about success, power, brilliance, beauty or the perfect mate

Believe they are superior and can only associate with equally special people

Monopolize conversations and belittle or look down on people they perceive as inferior

Expect special favors and unquestioning compliance with their expectations

Take advantage of others to get what they want

Have an inability or unwillingness to recognize the needs and feelings of others

Be envious of others and believe others envy them

Behave in an arrogant or haughty manner, coming across as conceited, boastful and pretentious

Insist on having the best of everything — for instance, the best car or office

At the same time, people with narcissistic personality disorder have trouble handling anything they perceive as criticism, and they can:

Become impatient or angry when they don’t receive special treatment

Have significant interpersonal problems and easily feel slighted

React with rage or contempt and try to belittle the other person to make themselves appear superior

Have difficulty regulating emotions and behavior

Experience major problems dealing with stress and adapting to change

Feel depressed and moody because they fall short of perfection

Have secret feelings of insecurity, shame, vulnerability and humiliation

…Go ahead, “jlocke” tell us all this doesn’t describe poor pathetic trump.

@stancorrected and offending socialists…You fellows didn’t even TRY to refute any of my points about American aspirational ideals. If I have not described them as you see those ideals…then pray tell, what ideals do YOU guys aspire to?

    Lies?

    Inequality before the law?

    Cheating?

    Conflicts of interest?

    Disparaging others with schoolyard insults?

    Probable treason?

    War instead of diplomacy?

    Open debate or closed-door cabals?

    Letting poor kids die?

    Seriously?

I mean, honestly, guys, what ARE your aspirational ideals for our country? Do tell.
