I don’t recognize any of the songs in the comments. I’ve heard of Sing, sing,sing – but not with Gene Krupa. Maybe it’s because I’m not into drumming – unless it is Tahitian.

I saw Tommy Igoe and The Birdland All-Stars last Saturday. Wow, that guy is pure joy to hear and watch! It would’ve been impossible to keep my feet still, even if I’d wanted to.

I don’t know about Morty, but that song always makes me think of metro trains and Rebecca de Mornay.

Drum solo in Wipe out sticks in my mind a lot. I knew a guy who could drum solo on that so long dancers got tired and set down! Craig Brown in a local country band.

There’s a drum solo in “In the Air Tonight”? I guess I always turned it off before then.
