Yep, my parents went way outta their way to eliminate any positive feelings out of us.
I used to hear “The difference between a successful person and a failure, is that the failure only failed once.” from my family.
Fine print: “oh, you have to know how to do what you set your mind to, too.”
The laws of physics are kinda hard to avoid.
At least you missed the cactus. When I used to hike in the desert, I was a magnet for cholla.
Keep on Trying, don’t repeat the same thing, look at it from new angles.
