The problem the US has, is that there is no way to prevent a fringe minority from seizing control of government or to quickly remove a dysfunctional leader in a binary political system … a system that was never intended and one that the founders warned us about.
Shouldn’t a nation’s President look out for that nation’s interest BEFORE any other nation? Yes you negotiate, however your nation’s needs are paramount.
